The “Rule The World” rapper headlined the first top of the Bud Light House Party Tour in Toronto on Thursday. He performed a free concert for 110 fans at an undisclosed location and the event was also livestreamed.

During his performance, 2 Chainz alluded to difficulties crossing the border. “I’m happy to be in Toronto. Who knows somebody in Immigration Customs?” he asked the crowd. “We’re going to make some phone calls after this show. Let them know I’m just a law-abiding citizen. I’m here to have fun with you guys. I don’t have to bring weed over here because, guess what, y’all got weed!”

Chainz has had legal troubles in the past, having previously been convicted of felony cocaine possession at the young age of 15. In February 2013, he was arrested in Maryland for marijuana possession en route to a concert. In June of the same year, he was arrested on board a flight at LAX airport for being in possession of marijuana and promethazine.
