Chadwick Boseman is saving New York City, but this time his rescue efforts are against a gang of cop killers and not an interstellar planet-threatening baddie.

The “Black Panther” star plays the lead role in the new thriller “21 Bridges”, which is produced by “Avengers: Endgame’ directorial duo Joe and Anthony Russo and MWM Studios. A new trailer for “21 Bridges” was released at Comic-Con on Friday.
The film is about NYPD detective Andre Davis (Boseman) who is on the hunt for two cops that are accused of committing a string of murders. “Close the island,” he instructs two detectives in the trailer. “Manhattan. The 21 bridges, shut ’em down. Three rivers, close ’em. Four tunnels, block ’em. There cannot be a version of this where these two aren’t found.”

“21 Bridges” also stars J.K. Simmons and Sienna Miller. It premieres Sept. 27.
