New Music Video Released To Commemorate 50th Anniversary Of David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’

To mark the 50th anniversary of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity”, his camp has released a new video for the 2019 mix of the hit song.

The video first premiered at The Kennedy Center in Washington where NASA was treated to a special screening before being shown in Times Square.

It also coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing when Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong took those famous first steps.

Another way to celebrate the memory of Bowie is with the “Ziggy Stardust” Barbie from Mattel. The doll is dressed in Bowie’s signature outfit of a blue and red striped space suit and a gold disc on the doll’s forehead. The same look Bowie wore during his 1973 tour.
