“To have spearheaded that industry—I feel very proud of having done that—it is an industry now.”

Martha Stewart Living magazine was launched in 1990. The single magazine grew into an empire that includes merchandise and television shows like “Martha & Snoops Potluck Party Challenge”.

Stewart also spoke to Paltrow’s success with goop. “I think she’s doing it very differently than I’ve done it; she’s, first of all, a fantastic celebrity actress.”

The first self-made female billionaire in the U.S. added, “People are lapping it up, as you can see from the success of the products that we make, all of that.”
