Muckle, an 11-year-old cancer survivor, was front and centre for Rhett’s North American tour stop in Darien Lake, New York on Friday. Muckle held up a big yellow sign with three bullet points on it. Two goals were checked off: beat cancer, and [attend a] Thomas Rhett concert.”

The third goal read, “[take a] selfie with Thomas Rhett. Well, cue the country crooner who noticed the sign while onstage. “Oh my gosh, hold on two seconds,” Rhett said. “Get up here.”

Rhett and Muckle then took an awesome selfie onstage with the venue-full of concertgoers serving as a backdrop. The act earned a loud cheer from the audience.
