‘Stranger Things’ Star Joe Keery Drops Debut Single ‘Roddy’

Fans may know Joe Keery best as Steve Harrington from “Stranger Things” but the actor also has a music career.

This week, the 27-year-old dropped his debut single “Roddy”.

The laid-back pop track features Keery singing the chorus, “There’s somethin’ wrong with this world / I feel it comin’ on.”

Before his big break as an actor, Keery played in the Chicago psych-rock band Post Animal. Though he left the band before their 2018 LP When I Think Of You In A Castle was released, Keery’s contributions are featured throughout the album.

Keery isn’t the only “Stranger Things” cast member with a strong music career. Canadian Finn Wolfhard is the frontman for rock band Calpurnia and Gaten Matarazzo has starred in multiple musicals on Broadway.
