Louis Tomlinson can guarantee sexy fan faction had nothing to do with One Direction’s hiatus.
The “Two of Us” singer reacted to an article published by The Mirror outlining alleged reasons for the boy band’s split. Author Frances Kindon published a piece titled, “Drugs, Meltdowns and ‘Gay Sex’ Rumours—How ‘Rivalry and Hatred’ Tore One Direction Apart.”
The allegations in The Mirror piece detailing the group’s split range from partying and smoking, to Zayn Malik’s departure from the group. One of the more egregious accusations is “that the ‘Larry Stylinson’ fan fiction depicting” Tomlinson and Harry Styles as “lovers had pushed them apart.”
“Biggest load of bulls**t I’ve seen in a while,” Tomlinson tweeted on Wednesday. “Typical unprovoked venom from The Mirror. Couldn’t be further from the truth.”
This is not the first time Tomlinson has reacted to the erotic fan fiction written about him and Styles. “Larry is the biggest load of bulls**t I’ve ever heard,” he tweeted in 2012. Tomlinson also addressed an animation of Tomlinson-Styles fan fiction in the Zendaya-led series “Euphoria”.
One Direction performed their last-ever show as a group at “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” on Dec. 31, 2015.
