The former child stars of “The Brady Bunch” were at the Television Critics Association summer press tour to talk about HGTV’s new show “A Very Brady Renovation.”
HGTV bought the iconic house for their new show which sees Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Eve Plumb (Jan), Susan Olsen (Cindy), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Christopher Knight (Peter) take on the renovating the home in Studio City, California.

“They paid way too much for this house,” Williams joked about the $3.5 million price tag.
While the outside of the home will be familiar to fans, the inside is foreign territory. The show was shot on set with the house only used for exterior shots.
“We didn’t know where this house was. I didn’t know where it was until 1990,” revealed Knight.
But their childhood memories from the set helped the group replicate the floating staircase, the orange and green kitchen, Greg’s attic and the Jack-n-Jill bathroom while adding 2,000 square feet to the home.
“A Very Brady Renovation” premieres Sept. 9 at 9/8c on HGTV to coincide with the 50th anniversary of “The Brady Bunch” on Sept. 26.
