While the theatrical version of the flick ends right after Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) spends her final moments with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), who sacrificed himself to save everyone, the new, unreleased scene shows what happened to Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).
It also shows the group bending their knee to honour Stark.

“It’s a beautiful scene with moving performances, but we filmed it prior to Tony Stark’s funeral, directors Joe and Anthony Russo told USA Today of the scene. “The funeral scene ultimately became a more resonant and emotional reflection on Tony’s death for us.”
“Avengers: Endgame” will be available for digital download on July 30 and on DVD and Blu-ray on August 13.
