Mark Hamill Shares His First ‘Star Wars’ Screen-Test With Harrison Ford

Mark Hamill remembers the first time he and Harrison Ford ever met.

Over the weekend, a fan exhumed an old black-and-white clip in which the two actors rehearse lines from the original 1977 “Star Wars”, and asked Hamill if he had insight into the video.

My screen-test for @starwars w/ Harrison on the 1st day I ever met him. Neither 1 of us had read the script at this point, only this 1 scene. The two actors would be cast in the film, later appearing in three sequels, 1980’s “The Empire Strikes Back”, 1983’s “Return of the Jedi”, and 2015’s “The Force Awakens”.

Hamill will also make an appearance in the upcoming final chapter in the original “Star Wars” saga, “The Rise of Skywalker”, out December 20. It is not yet known if Ford will appear in the film.
