The seven-time CMA award-winner surprised students from Old Hickory, Tennessee’s Andrew Jackson Elementary School ahead of CMA Fest. The Eagle Honor Choir caught Underwood’s attention for their well-produced cover of her hit song “The Champion”.

“I can’t wait for you guys to crush it on Sunday,” Underwood told the kids. “You guys are going to be amazing. That crowd is not going to know what hit’em.” The Eagle Honor Choir even gave the country star a special performance of “The Champion” cover at rehearsals.
