Along with the premiere, the Canadian musician and producer will receive a special tribute at the new annual TIFF Tribute Gala.

Over the course of his long career, Foster has helped sell nearly a half-billion records, working with artists like Celine Dion, Josh Groban, Barbra Streisand, and more.

“A global musical genius, David Foster has left his mark on some of the most timeless songs of today while discovering and launching the careers of the industry’s most talented artists, defining what it means to be a multi-hyphenate musician,” TIFF co-head Joana Vicente said in a statement.
