Angela Bassett’s got no time for “Avengers: Endgame”, even though she’s in the movie.
The 60-year-old actress appeared for an interview with SiriusXM’s Dalton Ross and Jessica Shaw on EW Live where she made the confession.
“It’s three hours long, right?…I haven’t seen it,” she said of the Marvel superhero film, adding, “Oh, my God, carve out three hours?”
Bassett’s kids have seen the film, though.
“They’ve seen it. They’ve seen it twice,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Y’all have fun. I’m just gonna relax and chill at home, thanks. Tell me all about it.’ They tell me, ‘You always fall asleep in the movies, Ma,’ then I wake up and I got, like, the general gist of what happened. And the bad guys went down and the good guys solved it and it’s all good, right? Okay!”
Bassett plays the character Romanda, the mother of Wakanda’s King T’Challa in the Marvel Universe, making her first appearing in 2018’s “Black Panther”.
