“Girl” is officially Maren Morris’ third number one.

According to Billboard, the female-empowering single, which dropped in March, took the number one spot on the Country Airplay Charts in its 28th week on the August 3-dated list. “Girl” jumped from number four to number one.

The tune not only marks Morris’ third number one. The last female-sung chart-topper was Kelsea Ballerini’s “Miss Me More” on the Country Airplay Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart in June 2019.

“I am so proud that ‘Girl’ is my third Billboard No. 1,” the Grammy-winner told Billboard.

“Girl” is technically only Morris’ second solo number one, her feature on Thomas Rhett’s “Craving You” also hit number one on the Country Charts after “I Could Use A Love Song” from her debut album Hero.

Next up for Morris is her new single “The Bones” from her second album Girl.
