It looks like the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show may be skipping a year.

Model Shanina Shaik dropped the shocking news in a new interview with The Daily Telegraph.

“Unfortunately the Victoria’s Secret show won’t be happening this year,” the 28-year-old said, according to The Daily Mail. “It’s something I’m not used to because every year around this time I’m training like an angel.”

Shaik said she believes the show will be back soon, though.

“I’m sure in the future something will happen, which I’m pretty sure about,” she said. “I’m sure they’re trying to work on branding and new ways to do the show because it’s the best show in the world.”

The first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was held in 1995, and has been held annually since, except in 2004 when the show was replaced by the “Angels Across America Tour”. TV broadcasts of the show first started in 2001.

Shaik made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut in 2011, appearing again in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2018.
