Carmen Carter delivered yet another incredible performance on Tuesday’s “America’s Got Talent”.
The singer had everybody up on their feet as she belted out a high-energy cover of the Beatles’ classic “Come Together”.
She said in a clip before her performance, “It’s never too late. There’s nothing to stop me now. It’s my time and that’s why I’m here.”
“Carmen Carter, remember that name,” Carter then told the crowd before hearing the judges’ opinions.
The performance went down a storm with Julianne Hough, Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union and Ellie Kemper.
Simon Cowell also loved it, but did add: “Even though it wasn’t perfect, your voice is outstanding.
“But you can’t just keep doing cover versions and expect everything to materialize. That’s the only thing in my opinion you’re lacking, but we’ll see. Good luck.”
Carter’s performance was enough to take her through to the next round. She joins Light Balance Kids (Kemper’s Golden Buzzer), impersonator Greg Morton, tambourinist Gonzo, guitarist Marcin Patrzalek, danger act Nick and Lindsay and singer MacKenzie.
