Kristy Swanson, known for starring in the 1992 “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” film, got into a heated political argument on Twitter with Canadian-American “Glee” actor Patrick Gallagher.

Earlier this week, Gallagher, who is known to “Glee” fans as Coach Tanaka, poked fun at a video on Twitter of two women singing a pro-Trump song.

Swanson, herself a Trump supporter, responded to Gallagher’s tweet by noting that he is a Canadian working in America, and that if he is “so embarrassed” by the U.S. she’d happily buy him a ticket back to “America’s Hat.”

Gallagher responded in a series of tweets, saying that she had been “rude” when they once worked together.

“Very classy sicking and your troll army on me… Pathetic” he wrote.

He also noted that he is, in fact, an American citizen.

Swanson blocked Gallagher but held her ground by saying she was simply sticking up for her country.

Fellow pro-Trump actor Dean Cain, of “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” fame, also slammed Gallagher’s initial tweet.

Meanwhile, Swanson defended her reference to Canada as “America’s Hat” when followers took issue with the sobriquet:
