Your first kiss is something you remember for the rest of your life. It was probably awkward and not anything like you see in the movies. However, if you are Joseph Gordon-Levitt, your first kiss is with an actress 26 years your senior.

Patricia Arquette revealed while on the “Late Late Show With James Cordon” that she was Gordon-Levitt’s first kiss when he was just 12 on the set of “Holy Matrimony”.

“I end up marrying a very young Joey Gordon-Levitt and we have to have a kiss,” Arquette told Cordon about the film where she plays a woman, Havana, who hides in a Protestant Hutterite community after committing a robbery with her boyfriend, Peter.

The two get married to please the community’s elders but Peter dies in a car accident. The biblical traditions then dictate that she has to marry his younger brother, Zeke, played by Gordon-Levitt, who is 12 at the time.

“His mom was like, ‘This is his first kiss, he’s nervous,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m nervous!’” she recalled laughing.
