“Dawson’s Creek” fans shouldn’t get their hopes up.

Appearing on a TCA panel for his current show “Tell Me a Story”, creator Kevin Williamson was asked whether a revival of the late-’90s, early-’00s teen drama might be in the works.

“We keep talking about it, but no, as of now, it’s not in the pipeline,” he said, according to E! News. “We kind of ended it. The last episode was five years in the future. We put a nice button to it. Jen died. What are we going to do? We’ve talked about it but until we can find a reason to do it… what are you going to do?”

He added, “We [came] up with ideas and we’ve thought about it, but no.”

“Dawson’s Creek” originally ran from 1998 to 2003 and starred actors James Van Der Beek, Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, and Joshua Jackson.
