Lindsey Stirling has released a new version of her recently-released single, “The Upside”, which features Elle King.
“Not only is Elle incredibly talented but I love who she is as a person,” Stirling gushed in a statement. “She is full of energy, self-love and positive vibes and I think you can hear it in her voice. She was the perfect person to give a special touch to this song and I couldn’t be more excited!”

Stirling originally released “The Upside” as a solo piece on July 4 but surprised fans with a new rendition featuring the “The Ex’s and Oh’s” singer on Friday. “Sometimes a song sounds great two ways,” Stirling said on Twitter.
The “America’s Got Talent” alum is set to begin a tour of Europe and Mexico next week on Aug. 10 in Mexico City.

Both versions of “The Upside” will appear on Stirling’s 5th studio album, Artemis, which comes out Sept. 5. The 13-track album has only one other collaboration, “Love Goes On and On” featuring Amy Lee of Evanescence.
“The Upside” is available to stream and download on all digital platforms.
