Report: Valentina Sampaio Hired As Victoria’s Secret’s First Transgender Angel

According to reports, Victoria’s Secret is making some big strides with the LGBTQ community by hiring its first-ever transgender Angel.

Trans model Valentina Sampaio took to Instagram on Thursday to announce that she’s been hired by the famed lingerie brand, posting a selfie from her photo shoot for Victoria’s Secret “VS Pink” brand.

“Backstage click,” the Brazilian model wrote in the caption accompanying a photo of herself wearing a white robe.

Sampaio’s fellow Brazilian, who is also a VS Angel, was the first to comment on the news.

“First transgender to shoot with Vs!” she wrote on Twitter. “This make me so happy!”
