All three current “American Idol” judges are set to return next season.

On Monday, ABC announced that Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan will all be back for the third season on the network in 2020.
Bobby Bones will also be returning as a mentor for the competing singers, Deadline reports.
Auditions for the new season, the show’s 18th overall, have already kicked off in New York, and will be coming to 21 more cities across America beginning later this month.

“We couldn’t be more excited for Katy, Luke, Lionel and Bobby to continue in their roles as ‘American Idol’ searches for the next great music star, with more live episodes and exciting, new creative elements coming this season,” said ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke.
