In a brand new clip from the upcoming reboot, to be hosted by Haddish, adorable kids join the “Girls Trip” actress to talk about marriage, their dream jobs and washing bowling balls.

After getting its start in 1945 as a segment on the daytime variety series “Art Linkletter’s House Party”, Bill Cosby later hosted a standalone series in 1998 before ABC announced the reboot with Haddish on-board.

According to ABC, “the reimagined format, showcasing a mix of in-studio segments and taped pieces from across the country, will capture Haddish’s unique voice and sensibility as she interacts with real kids and their innocently entertaining points of view.”

“I watched a lot. I definitely studied him. I loved all the different things that he did,” Haddish said about Art Linkletter at a session during a panel at the TCAs. “I’ve been studying comedy since I was a little girl. I used to watch Red Skelton and Milton Berle and all those greats, and vaudeville, old vaudeville stuff. So that’s probably why I am the way I am. I love Charlie Chaplin and all those really cool guys. They’re all cool.”

“Kids Say The Darndest Things” premieres on Oct. 6.
