Royal fans could nab themselves the cottage next to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Norfolk Anmer Hall home.
Kate and William previously lived in the home, that sits on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate and was given to them as a wedding present, after welcoming Prince George back in 2013. They now use it as their country holiday home and live at Kensington Palace.
The next time they visit the estate they could have new neighbours, as the property’s website put up a notice for a two-bedroom home referred to as 20 Cherry Tree.
The listing read, “End of terrace two bedroom property with large garden and off-road parking. Newly refurbished. EPC 46 E. £700 (around $1,130 CAD) per calendar month. Please be aware that this property has steep stairs.”
The cottage is located just metres away from the entrance to the royals’ home.
Sandringham Estate’s website also confirmed they had a “strict no cats policy,” but noted “Dogs will be considered on a house by house basis.”
The website also stated, “Sandringham’s housing policy is to let properties as a primary residence, prioritizing those who live and work locally. Those moving to the area are also considered.”
“Properties are not let on a first come, first served basis, but rather on which prospective tenant is best suited to the property.”
Anmer has just 29 houses and a population of 63.
