Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk get real about working together as a real life married couple on their new series “The Politician”.
Paltrow appears on the show, of which Falchuk is a co-creator.
The actress says of working with her other half: “When you fully commit to somebody as your life partner, you want to also commit to their journey and their work.”
“I felt almost like I wanted to fulfill Brad’s vision of it,” she tells The Hollywood Reporter.
She says of watching Falchuk in more of a leadership role: “It’s so fun to be working with someone who you’re in love with. I was like, ‘Agh! He’s so hot, he’s so talented, this is so fun.’”

Falchuk admits that Paltrow would occasionally suggest changes to her character’s lines.
He tells the magazine: “She would come to me with, ‘This is killing me; please don’t make me say all this.’ Okay… and I would never do that for anybody else but…”
This marks the first time Paltrow and Falchuk have worked together since they met when she guest-starred on “Glee” back in 2010.
“The Politician” tells the tale of “Payton Hobart, a wealthy student from Santa Barbara, who has known since age 7 that he’s going to be president of the United States, but first he has to navigate the most treacherous political landscape of all, Saint Sebastian High School.”
