Denise Richards is heading back to 90210.
The “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” star, 48, joined Dean McDermott, Adam Hunter and Nicky Paris on their podcast “Daddy Issues” to discuss their excitement for Wednesday’s premiere of Global’s “BH90210”.
“It was so fun and exciting to see everyone together and watch Tori [Spelling] and Jennie [Garth] work so hard,” Richards explained. “Everyone loves that show and I think going to be huge and I’m so excited for everyone.”
“I will say, Tori, your amazing wife, worked so hard on this as a producer,” she said to McDermott. “When she texted me about coming on I was so excited to come in and join in on the party.”
And of course this isn’t the first time Richards has appeared on the series, she guest-starred on the ’90s original and 2008’s “90210” remake starring Garth, Shannen Doherty and then-newcomers Shenae Grimes and AnnaLynne McCord.
“It was one of my very first acting jobs ever,” she said of her ’90s gig. “I played Jennie Garth’s cousin when her mom got married. Ian Ziering’s character [Steve Sanders] was hitting on me but I only had one line, maybe two, and I was so nervous.”
Richards added, “I was so nervous to deliver my one line because the show was such a phenomenon, and still is.”
But when it comes to the remake, she doesn’t remember much from it, not even her character’s name.
Catch the series premiere of “BH90210” Wednesday, August 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Global.
