The Highwomen recently made their live debut at the Newport Folk Festival – with the help of Dolly Parton, no less – and on Wednesday the roots-music supergroup brought their harmonies to “The Howard Stern Show” on SiriusXM.

The quartet, including of Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Amanda Shires and Natalie Hemby, was joined by rocker Jason Isbell – who also happens to be Shires’ husband – for a country-tinged cover version of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain”.

Highlighted by the Highwomen’s soaring four-part harmonies and Shires’ fiddle playing, the performance offers fans a sneak peek at the group’s take on the ’70s classic, which they recorded for the soundtrack to the new film “The Kitchen”.

That wasn’t the only track the women performed during their “Stern Show” visit; check out their performance of “Redesigning Women”, the first single from the group’s debut album, which drops Sept. 6.
