Jimmy Kimmel insisted he’d love to be the mayor of Dildo as he spoke to the people of the small Newfoundland fishing village during his show Wednesday.
Kimmel questioned numerous locals on where the name came from and where they’d been hiding for so long, to which they replied: “No-one really knows where Dildo came from originally.”
After poking fun at people’s last names, which included “Pretty” and “Butt”, Kimmel announced: “I would like to officially declare my candidacy to become mayor of Dildo.
“I know it’s unorthodox because I don’t live there and I’ve never actually been there, but what do you think my chances are?”

However, he was quickly told his chances were, “Slim to none.”
The locals also sung a song they wrote about their beloved town.
Kimmel’s interest in Dildo came after he noticed the name in the background of a NTV News segment.
