Ron Burgundy met all sorts of wonderful animals as he made a surprise appearance on Thursday’s “The Late Late Show”.
Burgundy stopped by an array of late-night TV shows to promote the launch of the second season of “The Ron Burgundy Podcast”, which he does as his “Anchorman” character.
While chatting to James Corden, the pair welcomed San Diego Zoo animal ambassador and zookeeper Rick Schwartz, who brought along some friends.

As Schwartz brought out an alligator, Burgundy joked: “Looks delicious!” before they placed a bigger one on a terrified Corden’s desk.
Burgundy added, “I had an alligator for three years, it just got too big and I had to release it in the city pool.”
Schwartz also brought out a skunk — much to Burgundy’s dismay — and a cougar.
