Trevor Noah Discusses Mass Shootings, The Panic In America: ‘Is This How People Want To Live?’

Trevor Noah spoke about mass shootings on Thursday’s “The Daily Show”.

Noah discussed the recent panic in New York’s Times Square that saw crowds fleeing for their lives after a motorbike backfired.

The talk-show host questioned, “Is this how people want to live? You don’t even realize it but you’re constantly terrorized; it is domestic terrorism.”

He added in reference to the recent Texas and Ohio shootings, “In some of the conversations I’ve seen online, people seem to be focused more on the numbers of people who have died, as opposed to the total number of people who have been affected.

“What is the effect these guns [are] having on America? The people of the country — what is happening to them? And genuinely, over and over again I see people fight, ‘It’s about the constitution!'”
