While many Swifties are loving Taylor Swift’s support of the United States’ Democratic political party, one fellow singer isn’t to keen on it.
Kid Rock took to Twitter on Friday to slam the Grammy-winning artist with an extremely sexist tweet.
“Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies… period,” Rock wrote. “And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl.”

While he didn’t specify what prompted the hate, Swift’s September issue of Vogue debuted this week, profiling her support of Phil Bredesen, the Democratic challenger to Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) during the 2018 midterms, and her support of LGBTQ causes.
“Unfortunately in the 2016 election you had a political opponent who was weaponizing the idea of the celebrity endorsement,” Swift said. “He was going around saying, I’m a man of the people. I’m for you. I care about you.’ I just knew I wasn’t going to help.”
Stars have shown their support for Swift, including Chrissy Teigen and Sheryl Crow, who once had a duet with Rock.
Some fans pointed out that Kacey Musgraves appeared to “like” Rock’ tweet but she quickly revealed that she was hacked.
“I’ve connected with Taylor – she knows this is NOT how I feel and we are cool. That was a manipulated image (I don’t even follow Kid Rock), and I would NEVERRR support any message promoting such disgusting misogyny,” Kacey said in a tweet.
Rock wasn’t the only person to slam Hollywood on Friday, in fact, U.S. President Donald Trump accused the entertainment industry of hating on the republican party.
