The final season of the acclaimed HBO series finds Frankie and Vincent Martino, both played by James Franco, and Candy, played by Maggie Gyllenhaal, ushering in 1985 in style.
And with a new year comes plenty more that’s new, including the rise of VHS tapes, the influence of Wall Street, and plans to redevelop Times Square into the corporatized tourist destination we know today.
