A Florence + The Machine concert last week was especially memorable for two fans in love.
During a show in Edinburgh, Scotland, on August 8, Florence Welch invited Steph and Jenny on stage and announced that Steph had “a very special request, and I’m fulfilling this request. Steph as something she would like to ask you.”

Taking the mic, Steph looked at Jenny and said, “From the moment I met you I was in love.”
With the crowd cheering, she continued, “I know the future will always be uncertain and difficult, but one thing that I know I want for certain is for us to grow old together and to call you my wife.”

Jenny said yes, and Welch told them,Ā “Jenny and Steph, we wish you so much love.”
