Sherri Shepherd had lots to say about “The View” during an appearance on Sunday’s “Watch What Happens Live”.
Shepherd, who left the show five years ago, was asked about the explosive book Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of ‘The View’, written by Ramin Setoodeh.
Shepherd told Cohen she hadn’t actually read the book “because I lived it,” and discussed Elisabeth Hasselbeck threatening to quit after a heated row with Barbara Walters over the morning-after pill.
Shepherd, who was a panellist on the show from 2007 to 2014, told Cohen: “I was there. Elisabeth was going to walk off, I was like, ‘Boy, y’all white people are something else. You’re gonna leave a job?'”

Shepherd was also asked about that fight involving Rosie O’Donnell and Walters, in which O’Donnell accused Walters of not defending her more in her feud with Donald Trump.
Shepherd recalled, “That was bad. You can’t get in Barbara Walters’ face. She’s up there with Jesus!”
