Self-proclaimed “sneaker enthusiast” Cara Delevingne joined Complex for their latest episode of “Sneaker Shopping”.
The model/actress, 27, chatted with host Joe La Puma at the Los Angeles boutique Sneakersnstuff about her first favourite pair of sneakers, or “trainers” according to Delevingne, her collab with Puma, and the time she wore Puma by Rihanna creepers to the White House.
Switching the topic from footwear, the “Paper Towns” actress shared the best advice she received from the late Karl Lagerfeld.
“Don’t judge a book by its cover. Everyone has a story. Everyone goes through moments and days and they say certain things,” she said. “Until you really truly know someone and really get to know why they do the things they do, what inspires them, what their fears are, you don’t ever really know anyone. So we’re in this world right now where we’re so quick to judge and point a finger and have an opinion. Of course, you’re allowed to have an opinion, but it’s so easy to throw them at people now.”
