Kim Cattrall Says She Faced ‘Bullying’ For Turning Down ‘Sex And The City 3’: ‘No Means No’

Kim Cattrall claims she faced “bullying” after turning down the opportunity to reprise her role as Samantha Jones in a third “Sex And The City” movie.

In a new interview with The Guardian, the Canadian actress admits she hung on to the character longer than she should have because she “loves ‘Sex And The City.'”

“It was a blessing in so many ways but after the second movie I’d had enough,” she says when rumours began swirling about a third big-screen installment way back in 2017. Cattrall has repeatedly said she has no interest in revisiting Samantha Jones. Last fall, co-star Sarah Jessica Parker officially revealed the movie wasn’t going to happen, with sources pointing to drama between the cast — namely, Cattrall and Parker.

“I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t just replace me with another actress instead of wasting time bullying,” she tells The Guardian. “No means no.”
