James Corden and Josh Gad try — and fail — to nab roles in “Hobbs & Shaw” and “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood” in a hilarious “Late Late Show” skit.
The duo explain that they’ve never starred in a movie together, before Corden says: “And then one day the phone rang and it was Quentin… Tarantino.”
“He needed two hot guys for the leads,” Gad adds of the flick “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood” and its stars Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.
After many a mishap involving electric cigarettes, the pair get booted off the set. All is not lost, however, as the producers of the “Fast and the Furious” call and offer them the leads in “Hobbs & Shaw”.
Despite their enthusiasm though, the pair are again axed after they fail to get to grips with one of the fancy cars on set.
Nevertheless, their efforts were not in vain, catching the eye of star Dwayne Johnson on Twitter:
They eventually get offered the roles of Buzz and Woody in “Toy Story 4” — see how it works out in the clip above.
