Prince George And Princess Charlotte Have Learned To ‘Lean On Each Other’: ‘Playdates With Outsiders Can Be Tricky’

Royals sources have addressed the incredible bond between Prince George, 6, and his sister Princess Charlotte, 4.

Insiders told People that because it’s hard for them to go out with other kids, the pair have become the best of pals.

A source told the mag, “They are close in age, and they spend so much time together. Playdates [with outsiders] can be tricky, so they learn to lean on each other.”

George and Charlotte were both seen cheering on their mom and dad, Kate Middleton and Prince William, as they took part in a charity sailing race last week.

At one point Charlotte was seen sticking her tongue out, with the insider saying: “Kate just handled it wonderfully. She just laughed, and it was really lovely to see. For once you looked at them and thought, They’re a family, rather than the Royal Family.”

The insider also said that Charlotte is super-excited to be joining George at Thomas’s Battersea school in a few weeks: “She can’t wait to be with George at big school. She is so excited about it all.”
