Kate McKinnon has at last met the real life subject of one of her best impersonations.

On Tuesday night, the star of Global’s “Saturday Night Live” attended an off-Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof, and also there in the audience was U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The two met, shook hands and even posed for photos with the cast of the show.

In a video posted to Twitter, actor Nick Raynor described McKinnon as “starstruck”.

McKinnon has portrayed Ginsburg on “SNL” in a recurring “Weekend Update” segment since joining the sketch show in 2012.

At the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, Ginsburg said, “I liked the actress who portrayed me and I would like to say ‘Ginsburned!’ sometimes to my colleagues.”

“Saturday Night Live” airs Saturdays at 11:35 p.m. ET/8:35 p.m. PT on Global; “SNL” will return with its 45th season in the fall.
