“Michael Jackson: Chasing the Truth”, released this week on a number of streaming services, seeks to counter claims made in the recent, explosive documentary “Leaving Neverland”.
The film features interviews with Jackson’s biographer Mike Smallcombe, former bodyguard Matt Fiddes and actor Mark Lester, who claim that the allegations made by Wade Robson and James Safechuck in “Leaving Neverland” were made up for financial gain.
“It’s always financial,” Fiddes says in the doc. “It’s hard to understand how these allegations can be true.”
