Miranda Lambert fans won’t have to wait much longer for her highly anticipated seventh studio album.
The singer announced Wildcard will be released November 1 and will feature her Top 25 single “It All Comes Out in the Wash”.
On Friday, the country star dropped her latest single “Mess with My Head” and today, she gave us another sneak peak of the record with “Bluebird”.
Co-written with Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby, “Bluebird” offers a more laid-back feel than her rock-oriented, foot-stomping sound in “Locomotive”.
“When people listen to this record, I want them to know that I see them and hear them,” says Lambert.
“I feel you, because I’m just a girl from East Texas, writing about all the things that go on in my world and in the worlds of people around me. I want people to get along, you know, just be who you are, own it and move on from the moments you couldn’t live in.”
Along with sharing her album release date, the Grammy Award-winner gave us her entire track list, which includes a duet with Maren Morris titled “Way Too Pretty For Prison”.
Lambert is headed out on the road for her “Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars” tour this fall with a whole roster of women including, Maren Morris, Elle King, Pistol Annies, Tenille Townes, Ashley McBryde and Caylee Hammack.
