Gordon Ramsay seems a little out of his comfort zone during an upcoming episode of National Geographic’s “Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted”.
In the series he eats roasted guinea pig in Peru, and now he’s heading to Laos.
A family feeds him “toe biters,” aka giant water bugs, with Ramsay ending up being pretty impressed despite not liking the look of them to start with.
Ramsay says in a clip, “They don’t look appetizing.”
“But my God, get inside that head and it’s like a cross between a sweet lobster and crab meat, and yeah, packed with protein. Big surprise.”
He also tries snail lettuce wraps and weaver ant eggs.
The series will also see Ramsay head to New Zealand, Morocco and Hawaii to try local delicacies.
“Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted” premieres on Nat Geo TV in Canada on Tuesday, August 27 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
