Iggy Azalea admits that she’s become sick of some of her own songs.
In a new video from Delish, the “Fancy” rapper answers a series of “Never have I ever” questions presented to her on index cards, including one reading, “Never have I ever gotten sick of my own song.”
“Of course I get sick of my own songs,” she admits. “In fact, some of them I hate. Some songs I make and then they don’t age well, and like a year or two later I’m like, ugh, what was I thinking?!”
Despite her feelings, Azalea, 29, says that fans won’t have to worry that she’ll stop performing those hated songs at her concerts.
“But people still like them!” she adds. “So some of the songs I decide I hate, I still have to perform because the fans want to hear them. So, yes, I have gotten sick of a song. A lot of songs.”
That wasn’t the only revelation the 29-year-old Australian made during the candid interview, also admitting she’s owned a fake ID (“I did bad things with it,” she says), has stolen things and regrets some of the things she’s said on Twitter.
Her remarks about getting sick of her songs can be seen just after the 2:00 mark in the video above.
