There are baseball fans… and then there’s Jack White.
The former White Stripes rocker proved himself to be a MLB super fan on Saturday when he and the members of his side project, The Raconteurs, were on hand at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., to watch the Washington Nationals take on the Milwaukee Brewers.
As the tied game dragged on, reports MLB’s Cut4, White and the band were forced to leave — in order to perform at a nearby venue, The Anthem.
Amazingly, after The Racounteurs finished their set, they then headed back to Nationals Park — where the game was still going on.
As a result of the ridiculously long game, White and his band mates managed to make it back for the 13th inning, and managed to catch the rest of the game. After more than five hours, the game finally ended in the 14th inning, with the Brewers winning in a 15-14 victory.
The band shared a photo of themselves with Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg ahead of the game — and then another photo from the game after they returned from their show.
