Slipknot Takes Top Spot On Billboard 200

Slipknot’s latest album just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

We Are Not Your Kind is the third No. 1 album for the heavy metal band, they also had .5: The Gray Chapter in 2014 and All Hope Is Gone in 2008. In total, Slipknot had five Top 10 albums.

The album moved 118,000 equivalent album units in the first week, 102,000 of those were album sales.

The last time a hard rock album took the top spot on the Billboard 200 was in 2017 with the Foo Fighters’ Concrete & Gold.

Rounding up the top five of the Billboard 200 chart is Rick Ross’ Port Of Miami 2, Trippie Redd’s !, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? from Billie Eilish and Ed Sheeran’s No. 6 Collaborations Project.
