In the first trailer for Ryan Murphy’s new Netflix drama “The Politician”, Platt stars as Payton Hobart, an ambitious young student running for student body president.
Things get complicated when his seemingly easy path to victory is blocked by some ruthless opponents at Saint Sebastian High School.
The dark satire also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Zoey Deutch, Jessica Lange, Lucy Boynton, Julia Schlaepfer, and Laura Dreyfuss.
“The Politician” is set to premiere September 27 on Netflix.
