Gina Gershon is coming to the defence of defamed director, Woody Allen once again.
After sharing pictures on Instagram from her time in San Sebastian filming Allen’s upcoming “Rifkin’s Festival”, the actress, 57, stood up for Allen, telling her followers he “is not a sexual predator.”
The comments come just a month after she defended her decision to star in the film during a press conference.
“It’s a beautiful script; a dream come true,” Gershon said, according to The Wrap. “These are crazy times; one has to analyze the situation and decide how you feel; I’m delighted to be part of this team.”

But on Sunday, Gershon caused outrage on social media when she shared a photo of herself and Allen.
“Best summer camp ever,” she wrote. “Thanks to Woody for including me and for years and years of making some of my favourite movies ever. Its been so much fun.”
As of Tuesday, the post was met with multiple negative comments, slamming the actress for working with Allen.
“Hmmmm. Wish I could like this… but nope,” one follower commented. “He’s a sexual predator and people forgiving him [because] he is a filmmaker is twisted.”
Another added, “I truly can’t believe I ever looked up to you… it’s so heartbreaking that you’re working with someone like him.”

The comments prompted a response from Gershon, leading her to defend the director once again.
“I don’t believe that to be true. You should really do all of the research and read all of the articles before believing that,” she replied. “It’s really important to make up your own mind and not go by what the masses claim. I’ve done extensive research and I can say with very clear conscience that I’m so happy to be working with him.”
She added, “This man is not a sexual predator!”
Allen, 83, was accused by his adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, of molesting her when she was 7-years-old.
“Rifkin’s Festival” also stars Louis Garrel, Christoph Waltz, Elena Anaya, Wallace Shawn, Damian Chapa and Sergi Lopez.
