Gerard Butler suffered a rather unfortunate wardrobe mishap while wearing a kilt for his sister’s wedding.
Butler appeared on Monday’s “Conan” and spoke about his Scottish roots with the host.
He joked, “We’re born in kilts. They’re the worst diapers… I’ve not worn a kilt as much as you’d think.”

Butler had worn a kilt to both his brother and his sister’s weddings, speaking about the latter’s specifically.
The actor explained, “At my sister’s wedding I had to do the first reading, it was a Catholic wedding, there’s, like, 400 people in the congregation.”

He’d spotted his mom putting her hands together, assuming she meant to pray. However, she was actually telling him to close his legs.
Butler revealed, “I definitely, that day, was not wearing underwear.”
