Bastille’s Dan Smith may put his all into every performance but he took things to a new level Monday.
The band were performing in Stockholm, Sweden, when Smith thought it would be an incredible idea to sing their hit “Flaws” on a huge tower-drop ride at the Gröna Lund amusement park.
The singer was joined by two fans and a cameraman for the stint. He was doing fine as the ride lifted them higher and higher. However, things got a bit difficult after it dropped.
Bastille’s tour manager, Dick Meredith, admitted he’d given the go-ahead for the whole thing to happen in an Instagram comment.
The group dropped their latest album Doom Days back in June, with it debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
