Susan Boyle spoke about why she still loves to perform the Les Misérables track “I Dreamed a Dream” as she took the stage on Wednesday’s “America’s Got Talent” quarter-finals results show.

The song kickstarted Boyle’s career after she sang it during her famous “Britain’s Got Talent” 2009 audition.

The Scottish star received yet another standing ovation as she nailed her performance on “AGT”, earning top praise from Simon Cowell.

When asked by People why she still chooses to sing that song, Boyle said: “It’s something I can relate to.

“It’s about a lady who, more or less, was left on her own with nothing. Lots was taken away from her and she had to rebuild her life again.

“I started off having a hard time and things have become brighter and better.”
